Shipping Policies – USA orders
Orders placed with Winifred Bean ship by UPS with a signature required for delivery. Production of dresses begins at time of purchase so please allow 12 weeks upon order completion for your dress to ship. If you need to place an order for rush shipment please contact Customer Service at firstname.lastname@example.org or 646.526.7442 with your request.
We are unable to ship to P.O boxes. Orders shipping to P.O boxes will be delayed until we are able to contact you for a business or residential address.
Please allow 5 to 10 business days for shipment time of UPS packages. Tracking will be sent to the email address provided at the time of order placement.
International orders will be subject to import charges and customs charged by your country. Payment will be necessary to release your order from customs before delivery. Customs fees are non-refundable. Please contact email@example.com with any questions or concerns prior to paying customs fees.
Order and Payment Options
We accept all major credit cards and also allow purchases through Paypal. Or you can email me and we'll do it the old fashion way, with a check! firstname.lastname@example.org
The dresses will be made to the size you specify. Sizes cannot be mixed for the top and the bottom of the dress.
Upon ordering a Winifred Bean gown, we require 50% payment for the dress at the time of order and will charge the remaining 50% upon shipment of the dress. Unfortunately we cannot offer a refund for the 50% deposit if you decide you do not want the dress. If you have a change of heart, please contact us as soon as possible to see if there are any options for refunds. If production of your dress has not begun, we may be able to offer a partial refund.
Returns and Exchanges
Winifred Bean dresses are custom made to order and therefore we are unable to offer returns and exchanges at this time. We apologize for this inconvenience.
If you feel you have received damaged or incorrect merchandise, please contact customer service for return instructions at email@example.com. Damaged or incorrect goods must be returned within 5 days of receipt of goods.
By law, all items shipped to addresses in New York State and California will be charged sales tax.
Due to the complexity of the pieces, Winifred Bean is not able to offer alterations. Please contact a local seamstress to have your dress fit to your specific measurements.
All personal information collected by Winifred Bean is used to provide the products and services that you have ordered or requested, to process and ship orders, to send order and shipping confirmations and to provide customer service. If you have subscribed to our mailing list, we will also use your email address to contact you about sales, special offers, new products and new site features.
We engage third parties to perform services in connection with the operation of our business. Examples of these services include payment processing and authorization, fraud protection and credit risk reduction, product customization, order fulfillment and shipping, marketing and promotional material distribution, Web site evaluation, data analysis and, where applicable, data cleansing. We provide personal information to these third parties, but we authorize them to use this information only in connection with the services they perform.
We may release personal information if we believe in good faith that: the law or legal process requires it; we have received a valid administrative request from a law enforcement agency.
