Weekly Wedding Look - Chicago

Chicago is a beautiful blend of things that, at first glance, don't go together.  Grand, old buildings mixed with modern skyscrapers.  A big-city feel teeming with small-town Midwestern friendliness.  The Cubs and the White Sox.  Snow in the month of May.  It's a crazy stamp that belongs uniquely to Chicago.

In the same way that Chicago offers what I think of as metropolitan living with a twist, so too do Chicago weddings.  They come in all shapes and forms, but whether an outdoor casual affair at Lincoln Park, a grand ballroom bash at The Drake, or a modern loft party at Loft on Lake , there's one thing every Chicago wedding has in common - unexpected twists and plenty of local personality.

This week we wanted to bring together a look that captures the essence of everything we love about Chicago.  With the help of local vendors and featuring the modern yet classic elegance of our Winifred Bean Iris gown, we've pulled together a look that's classic bridal with a twist.  Pretty pinks mixed with edgy accessories, classic venue details paired with Chicago-centric sweets and treats.  We hope you enjoy!
